We have designed our VS1 seismometer to be the most advanced instrument available for home and educational seismology. Install the VS1 in a corner of your garage or basement and you’ll soon be exploring those tiny movements of the ground that are caused by earthquakes around the globe.

Along with the instrument and accessories, we supply all the software and support you need to record seismic events and develop your interest. To begin, all you have to provide is a modest Windows PC, plus a small space in your home, garage or classroom near a 110 or 240V outlet, and the VS1 can go to work.
